The Golden State Warriors admit that Draymond Green has a problem that needs to be solved, but how involved will they be in the process of solving it?
Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce discussed the Green situation on SHOWTIME Basketball and Garnett claimed that the organization is actually afraid of Green and refusing to force changes.
Garnett said that if the Warriors weren’t afraid of Green, they would have done something already.

He got some pushback from Pierce about his claim but Garnett isn’t the only one saying this.
There have been many who feel that the Warriors have been way too soft with Green and have resisted putting their foot down.
Because they didn’t enforce rules and because Green didn’t suffer serious consequences, he continued to act the way he did.
It has become clear over the years that the man isn’t afraid of missing games because of his on-court antics but what would have happened if he had a stern conversation with Steve Kerr and the rest of the Warriors organization?
Did they resist doing this because they feared he wouldn’t be as good of a player?
Green has always said that his temper and his personality are all part of the full package that he brings.
He might be hot-headed but he brings a ton of skill to the court with his anger and outbursts.
Perhaps the Warriors felt it was all worth it and so they didn’t draw a line in the sand but it has now led to the tough situation they are in.
Green is solely responsible for his actions but there are many people, including Garnett, saying that the Warriors didn’t do enough to stop him.
