The Golden State Warriors recently faced off against the Sacramento Kings in a highly anticipated matchup featuring two Western Conference teams.
It was a high-energy, high-stakes game for the Warriors as they are struggling to consistently register wins during the 2023-24 NBA season.
While the final score of the game stood at 134-133 in favor of the Kings, it could have gone the other way had Stephen Curry called for a timeout during the final possession of the game.
Instead, Curry turned the ball over and the Warriors allowed a golden opportunity to win the game against their rivals slip away.
After the game, Jonathan Kuminga decided to show support for his veteran teammate via Warriors on NBCS on Twitter.
“We’re human … That’s one of the greatest to ever touch the basketball … everybody make mistakes,” Kuminga said.

Many young players would have blamed Curry for making the blunder in the dying seconds of the game.
However, Kuminga showed his maturity as a player even though he is just 21 years old by pointing out that Curry is one of the greatest players of all time, but he is still a human being, and everyone can make mistakes.
At the end of the day, the mistake will certainly haunt Curry for a few nights, but knowing the veteran superstar, he will make a stunning comeback in the future.
Following the heartbreaking defeat, the Warriors now have an underwhelming 19-23 record as they remain the 12th seed in the Western Conference.
As for Curry, he will have a shot at rectifying his mistake against the Los Angeles Lakers in the next game.
