On Wednesday night, Jonathan Kuminga had one of the best games of his career and shot a perfect 11-of-11 from the field.
It was the latest strong showing from Kuminga, who spoke about advice he received from Draymond Green recently.
According to a video shared by NBC Sports, Kuminga said that Green told him to “just be who you are” and “don’t overthink.”
He said that stuck with him and it goes through his mind during games, which improves his confidence.

Wednesday’s game marked Kuminga’s fourth straight performance where he scored more than 20 points.
He earned 25 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 assists against the Atlanta Hawks.
The Warriors scored an important win against the Hawks but they still have a 19-22 record.
If the team wishes to improve that record and reach the playoffs, they will need everyone, including Kuminga, to continue playing incredibly well.
For the season, the talented forward is averaging 13.9 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.5 assists on 52.6% from the field.
Statistically, this is the best season of his career and fans hope the Warriors hold on to Kuminga when the trade deadline arrives.
There are likely going to be some big changes for Golden State in the near future but many faithful Warriors fans are pleading with them to keep Kuminga.
Now in his third season, he obviously has more confidence and that’s partly because of his growing skills and the advice he received from Green.
He has made a place for himself with this team and has repeatedly proven what he’s capable of.
Wednesday night’s game was just the latest example of that.
Can Kuminga keep it up and have five straight games with him scoring more than 20 points?
