The Golden State Warriors earned a much-needed win on Friday night, beating the Chicago Bulls 140-131.
Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson were looking like their regular selves during the game, scoring 27 and 30 points, respectively.
They led the team but a bench player, Jonathan Kuminga, also played very well with his 24 points and 5 rebounds.
After the game, Kuminga was asked about coming off the bench and made it clear that he doesn’t have a problem with Steve Kerr’s choice.
“I’ve been coming off the bench since I’ve been here, so that doesn’t affect me at all… As long as I go out there and help my team win,” Kuminga said.

He definitely helped his team win on Friday and those 24 points were the most from the second unit and Kuminga was behind only Curry and Thompson for the night.
Kuminga has statistically been having the best season of his career, averaging 13.1 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 1.5 assists.
So far this season, he has started in just 15 of his 37 games but Kerr doesn’t seem inclined to let him start more.
Some people understand why, because Kumigna is doing good work for the bench and is helping the team throughout the entire duration of games.
However, others wonder if the Warriors don’t have an adequate spot for Kuminga and if his days playing for Golden State are numbered.
The team will likely make some big changes soon and they are reportedly comfortable trading away anyone as long as it isn’t Curry.
So there is a chance that Kuminga will be moving to another team within the next few weeks.
If he does travel to a new team, will he remain a bench player or become a starter?
