The 2023 NBA Draft was headlined by Victor Wembanyama, who was picked as the number one overall pick by the San Antonio Spurs.
Apart from Wembanyama, the likes of Scoot Henderson and Brandon Miller also caught the eye of many.
However, when it comes to getting the biggest steal of the draft, the Golden State Warriors may have hit the lottery with the 19th overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft.
The Dubs used their draft pick to select Brandin Podziemski.
Podziemski took some time before settling into his role with the Warriors, but the 20-year-old may become a core member of the organization for years.
In fact, Jonathan Kuminga recently heaped huge praise on the Warriors rookie via Marcus Thompson II on Twitter.
“He got that one chance, that opportunity I feel like he needed. And look at him now. He’s rolling,” Kuminga said.

Kuminga pointed out that Podziemski always had the talent inside him to become a crucial player for the Warriors, but he was waiting for the perfect opportunity to do so.
Kuminga is most likely referring to Podziemski’s 23-point performance against the Minnesota Timberwolves earlier this season.
Since then, Podziemski has consistently put up good numbers for the Dubs in the 2023-24 NBA season.
As of now, he is averaging 8.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game for the Warriors.
Considering he is playing just 21.8 minutes per game, his numbers are bound to improve when his minutes increase.
Although Podziemski is having an impressive rookie year, he is still behind Klay Thompson in terms of becoming a starter at the shooting guard position for the Warriors.
But it may change sooner rather than later if the young stud can continue playing at this level.
