Time might be running out for the Golden State Warriors to win another championship with this current lineup.
That is what team owner Joe Lacob recently suggested when speaking to 95.7 The Game.
Talking about the Warriors’ window to win another title, Lacob was very honest:
“I don’t think people understand how important this is. Look, these guys are getting a little older. We got a window here. We’ve got to try to win another title and I really badly, really badly, want that for our guys.”

Lacob is simply telling a truth that all Warriors fans have come to terms with.
The team is definitely getting older and, as everyone knows, the NBA is a young man’s league.
Draymond Green is now 33 years old, as is Klay Thompson, and Stephen Curry is 35.
While these three remain mostly healthy, there is no doubt that they don’t have all the time in the world.
Green, Thompson, and Curry are the heart and soul of the team and have been key pieces of their unparalleled success over the last decade.
Without them, the team’s entire chemistry and culture would change, and winning a championship would be much more difficult.
Lacob and his front office have been working hard to give this aging trio more support on the floor and have invested in several up-and-coming young stars over the last few years.
And the three athletes have also focused on staying in shape, remaining healthy, and even altering their games slightly so they can perform well as they grow older.
The window is getting smaller but the talent remains strong.
Can the Warriors claim one more ring for this iconic big three?
