NFL superstar Jared Goff had a very good afternoon on Sunday, as his Detroit Lions beat the Los Angeles Rams and earned their ticket into the next stage of the NFL postseason.
It was the first home playoff win for the Lions since 1991 and it helped fans forget about the last several decades.
Speaking of the past, a former tweet from Goff was making the rounds on Sunday.
Back in February of 2015, Goff hopped online to ask, “Is Steph Curry the best PG ever?”

Goff’s tweet came on February 20, 2015.
It was right after Curry put up 25 points and 11 assists in a win over the San Antonio Spurs.
It’s not clear what impressed Goff the most but he was obviously a big fan of Curry’s work – and likely still is.
However, now Goff is being celebrated by fans of his own team, just like Curry is.
The 2014-15 season really was a great one for Curry so Goff wasn’t the only fan blown away by his work.
He averaged 23.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 7.7 assists.
His team was on its way to its first championship win.
During the playoffs that season, Curry posted 28.3 points, 5 rebounds, and 6.4 assists.
That was, of course, the Warriors’ first title but they would have three more coming in the future.
Curry remains one of the most loved players in the NBA and has become a legendary icon.
But back in 2015, he was fighting hard for his team to go all the way and prove the doubters wrong.
Now Goff is doing the same thing and perhaps using Curry as inspiration.
