The Golden State Warriors have struggled to win games in the 2023-24 NBA season.
However, if there is one player who has continued to impress fans with his skills, it’s none other than Stephen Curry.
Curry has continued to put great numbers behind his incredible three-point shooting, albeit going through a rough patch for a few weeks in the season.
Speaking of Curry’s insane shooting ability from downtown, it will be on full display in a new way during the NBA All-Star Weekend Challenge.
Curry will face off against New York Liberty’s Sabrina Ionescu at the 2024 NBA All-Star Weekend Challenge, and renowned insider Shams Charania recently shared details about the much-anticipated matchup via his official Twitter handle.
“Curry will shoot from the NBA 3-point line with NBA basketballs, and Ionescu will shoot from the WNBA 3-point line with WNBA basketballs,” Charania tweeted.
Stephen Curry vs. Sabrina Ionescu on All-Star Saturday night is official:

Considering the fact that the three-point rules in the NBA are different from the WNBA, many fans wondered how the two players will face off against each other.
Well, as per Charania, Curry will shoot from the NBA three-point line with the league’s basketballs, while Ionescu will be allowed to shoot from WNBA distance with WNBA basketballs.
Now, that’s a unique way to deal with the differences in the three-point line rules in both leagues.
As expected, both superstars will receive money from their respective leagues for this new challenge.
However, the money will go to a charity of their choice and it’s a cherry on the top.
This season, Curry has shot 40.3% from the three-point line, while Ionescu maintains a 44.8% from downtown in the WNBA.
