The 2020 NBA Draft was headlined by none other than Anthony Edwards, who was picked as the number one overall pick by the Minnesota Timberwolves.
While Edwards was the obvious number one pick heading into the draft, one player from the draft class went unnoticed.
It was none other than Indiana Pacers superstar Tyrese Haliburton.
Haliburton was picked as the 12th overall pick by the Sacramento Kings, but he could have gone to the Golden State Warriors, who had the number two overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft.
Former Warriors general manager Bob Myers recently admitted that it was a huge mistake not picking Haliburton via Oh no he didn’t on Twitter.
“It was a mistake! It was a mistake! I screwed up! It’s a major mistake,” Myers said.
"I can't really defend it. It was a mistake! It was a mistake! I screwed up! It's a major mistake."

Bob Myers took over the Golden State Warriors in 2012.
At the time, the Dubs had already drafted the dynamic duo of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, but it was Myers who drafted Draymond Green using the No. 35 overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft and helped the team form the Big 3.
He also selected Kevon Looney for the Warriors in the 2015 NBA Draft.
But as good as Myers was for the Dubs, he missed on a potential superstar in Tyrese Haliburton in 2020.
While Myers took responsibility for his mistake, it’s simply too late for it now.
Haliburton is averaging 26.9 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 12.1 assists per game for the Pacers in the 2023-24 season.
The Warriors could certainly use a player like him to improve the team’s record.
The Dubs are currently the 11th seed in the Western Conference with a 10-12 record.
