Donte DiVincenzo is having the best season of his career playing for the New York Knicks.
The guard is scoring 13.9 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.4 assists for the Knicks and fits in perfectly with the rest of the roster.
Last season, DiVincenzo was able to play alongside Stephen Curry on the Golden State Warriors and he was heavily influenced by his skills.
Speaking to The Athletic, DiVincenzo talked about Curry and the impact he has had on his career.
“All the kids wanna be like that. But there is a real piece where you look in the mirror. I’m not him. No one is him. Steph is Steph. He’s proving that year after year,” DiVincenzo said, via SplashBrosMuse on Twitter.

DiVincenzo’s time with Curry was very important and provided him with many opportunities to study his game and learn how to be an even better basketball player.
During his season with the Warriors, DiVincenzo scored 9.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game.
When he moved to the Knicks in the summer, he saw it as a chance to take what he learned from Curry and put it into practice in New York.
DiVincenzo is 27 years old, while Curry is 35.
That means that DiVincenzo spent years watching Curry as simply a fan and was then lucky enough to play with him.
As DiVincenzo said, Curry continually proves how special he is.
Even now in his 15th season, he is posting 27.5 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 5.1 assists.
Throughout his career, he has repeatedly shown young players and fans just how special and talented he is.
Many people will try, but no one can be Curry.
