The Golden State Warriors are in the midst of one of their worst seasons ever and it has many people assuming that big trades are ahead.
Some people even assume that the big three of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green could be broken apart in the coming weeks.
JJ Redick spoke about this possibility on his show, The Old Man & The Three.
He posed a very important question: is this the end of NBA dynasties as we know them?
“Is this potentially the last version of an NBA dynasty? Whether it ends this season or in two or three seasons…is this the last run we will see?” Redick asked.
Redick said the reasons for this are because free agency is “dead” for the top players, while tax and apron regulations make it hard for teams to make moves to add to their rosters.
“You’ve got to build your team through the draft,” Redick suggested.
Are we watching the last version of a modern NBA dynasty?

If the Warriors are completely reshaped within the next few seasons, it will really mark the end of a major NBA era.
For years now, the Warriors found runaway success because of naturally forming the trio of Curry, Thompson, and Green.
They were the most dominant team in the NBA for years but that chapter has come to an end.
It’s a lot harder to build a team like the Warriors naturally and over time.
The league has become focused on winning as soon as possible and competition is tougher than ever.
So if the Warriors do change and this part of their history ends, it really could be the conclusion of what we know as dynasties.
