Just when fans of the Golden State Warriors thought it couldn’t get any worse, their team was taken down by the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday night.
This wasn’t the Grizzlies team of last year, either, because they were lacking most of their big names and still outplayed the Warriors.
On Tuesday’s episode of Run It Back, former NBA star Chandler Parsons made it clear that things have never been so bad for Golden State.
“Yeah, this is rock bottom, it doesn’t get much worse than this,” Parsons said.
He said that the Warriors were defeated by a group of lesser-known role players and second-unit stars who found a way to move past Golden State’s seasoned veterans.
Like others, he doesn’t know how things could get much worse.

Co-host Lou Williams was also disappointed by the Warriors’ performance on Monday.
“The light is starting to dim on this group,” he said, while still holding out hope that the team can turn things around and storm into the rest of the season with some sort of identity and determination.
At this point, fans of the Warriors are feeling hopeless about the problems with the team.
Draymond Green was finally back on Monday night but he didn’t add the sort of boost that many expected.
The team is still missing Moses Moody, Chris Paul, and Gary Payton II, but they should have been able to beat the Grizzlies even without them.
The problems with this squad run very deep and numerous people are hoping for a big change soon.
The trade deadline is approaching and no one will be shocked if the Warriors shake things up in a huge way.
