The Golden State Warriors have struggled to find their form in the 2023-24 NBA season.
While that is true, the Dubs have seemingly found their footing over the past few games.
The Warriors have attained a 7-3 record in their last 10 games of the season, but many believe that the Dubs still needed to make a blockbuster move around the NBA trade deadline to truly bolster their roster.
Well, the Warriors reportedly approached the Los Angeles Lakers to discuss a trade around none other than LeBron James.
As expected, the Dubs were met with a rejection by the Lakers organization and the camp of James, which led to many NBA fans sharing their thoughts on the report shared by Adrian Wojnarowski via his official Twitter handle.
ESPN Story with @RamonaShelburne: Over a 24-hour window prior to trade deadline that included owner to owner conversations, the Warriors made an unsuccessful bid to convince the Lakers and LeBron James to consider a trade to pair him with Stephen Curry. https://t.co/L14os5gTGp

As expected, most fans were taken aback by the idea of seeing James and Stephen Curry playing basketball together.
The two superstars have remained rivals for the majority of their careers, and it has produced some of the most exciting matchups around playoff time in the history of the NBA.
Despite the idea being as absurd as it gets, NBA fans wanted it to happen.
After all, it would have been a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see players of James and Curry’s caliber join forces at this stage in their careers.
At the end of the day, James would have gotten a lot of hate had he gone through with the move, similar to how Kevin Durant is still hated by many for joining the Dubs in 2016.
