Like many people, Draymond Green wasn’t happy with how the Golden State Warriors performed on Sunday night.
They fell to the Minnesota Timberwolves, 116-110, which was their third loss in a row.
Following that stinging defeat, Green told the press, via NBC Sports, that both he and Chris Paul need to do more to assist Stephen Curry and use him as a tool and a pathway to victory.

In Sunday’s game, Green scored 9 points, 9 rebounds, and 7 assists, while Paul posted just 2 points and 5 assists coming off the bench.
That is mostly in line with Green’s 9.9-point and 5.5-rebound average for 2023-24, but it’s below the 8.2 points and 3.6 assists that Paul has been producing.
Like many other commentators, analysts, and fans, Green recognizes that the rest of the team will have to do more to help out Curry, who has been having yet another sensational season.
After getting off to a good start with five wins in a row, the Warriors have slipped a bit and have now lost three consecutive games.
During those three games, Curry has still been a hero with an average of 30.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 3 assists.
The problem is that the rest of the roster hasn’t risen to the occasion and they have left Curry high and dry in many ways.
Green and Paul have the most experience of anyone else in the lineup and that is why Green is demanding so much out of both of them.
The Warriors are about to push into a tough patch of games, facing the Timberwolves again, followed by the Oklahoma City Thunder twice and the Houston Rockets.
The good news is that all of those games will be at home in San Francisco.
Will Green, Paul, and the rest of the squad shake off their problems and become strong supporting stars behind Curry?
