The Big 3 of the Golden State Warriors have helped the team in winning four NBA Championships in six trips to the finals.
While the Dubs were undoubtedly expected to win their first three titles in 2015, 2017, and 2018, the same cannot be said for their title run in 2022.
At the time, the Dubs were coming off back-to-back poor seasons due to the departure of Kevin Durant and gruesome injuries to Klay Thompson.
Keeping that in mind, it’s no surprise that many believed that the Warriors dynasty was over, and it came as a shock to them when the organization defeated the Boston Celtics in the 2022 NBA Finals.
In fact, Draymond Green recently named the 2022 title run his favorite during his stint with the Warriors (via Warriors on NBCS on Twitter).
“2022 wasn’t really a championship team compared to the championship teams I’ve been on. It wasn’t really a championship team,” Green said.

Draymond Green believes the 2022 Warriors team didn’t have a championship pedigree as compared to the other Dubs teams that he has been a part of during his career.
Green went as far as saying that he and Stephen Curry used to laugh after winning any particular series during the 2022 playoffs.
Even in the 2022 NBA Finals, the Boston Celtics were considered heavy favorites to defeat the Warriors.
However, against all the odds, Stephen Curry and the Warriors won the 2022 NBA Finals in six games.
It was undoubtedly an emotional campaign for the Warriors as they proved they still have what it takes to compete at an elite level.
But can the Warriors repeat the same level of success this season? Only time will tell.
