Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors had a fantastic game on Saturday night, scoring 60 points against the Atlanta Hawks.
But that still wasn’t enough, and the Warriors suffered yet another loss at the hands of Trae Young and his Hawks.
Speaking on his show, via ClutchPoints, Warriors star Draymond Green talked about the game.
“Very frustrating, especially with Steph [Curry] having the type of night that he had… When you lose a game and your guy [goes] off like that? It’s even worse,” Green said.
He continued to talk about his team’s recent struggles: “You just make these small mistakes over and over and over again. And at a certain point, it’s just impossible to overcome.”
“We have to play more mistake-free basketball,” Green concluded.

This has become a pattern for the Warriors: Curry plays incredibly well but the rest of the team isn’t able to meet him halfway and march to victory.
On Saturday, Lester Quinones scored 17 points and Jonathan Kuminga put up 16 points, while Brandin Podziemski earned a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds, and Klay Thompson had 10 points.
As for Green, he produced 7 points, 6 rebounds, and 8 assists.
The small mistakes that Green is talking about have plagued the team all season long and it’s put them in a very bad position.
They now have a 21-25 record and aren’t even qualified for the Play-In Tournament right now.
The Warriors will be back at it again on Monday night, facing off against the Brooklyn Nets before they take on the Philadelphia 76ers, Indiana Pacers, and Phoenix Suns.
Hopefully, Curry will keep playing well during those games.
However, even if he does it doesn’t ensure victory for the Warriors.
