The Golden State Warriors barely lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday night, losing 138-136 in overtime.
A few years ago, the Warriors likely would have trounced the Thunder but this game proved just how much Oklahoma City has improved.
Draymond Green believes that the team is truly something special and shared his opinion with the press, according to a video shared by ClutchPoints.
“They got a great head of the snake in Shai [Gilgeous-Alexander],” Green said.
He added that “Chet [Holmgren] will possibly be a generational player” and also said, “Jalen Williams is one of the most impressive players with the ball in the NBA.”

On Friday, Gilgeous-Alexander was indeed the head of the snake, leading the Thunder with his 38 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists.
Meanwhile, Holmgren posted 21 points and 7 rebounds and Williams was good for 28 points.
This has been a powerful trio that has led the Thunder to multiple wins throughout the season, and there are similarities between Gilgeous-Alexander, Holmgren, and Williams and Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Green.
Those three tried their hardest for Golden State, with Curry scoring 34 points, Thompson recording 22, and Draymond Green grabbing a double-double with 12 points and 13 assists.
It just wasn’t enough and the Thunder’s explosive speed overtook them.
The Thunder and Warriors have already met multiple times this season, with the Warriors winning one game and the Thunder claiming three victories.
Unless they square off in the playoffs, these two teams will not meet again.
The similarities between the Thunder and Warriors have been obvious for a few years now but this season, the Thunder have repeatedly defeated them.
