The Golden State Warriors are in desperate need of a player who can step up for the team when things get difficult apart from Stephen Curry.
The job was usually handled by the likes of Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, and Andrew Wiggins for the Dubs.
However, this season, the veteran trio is struggling to play well and support Curry.
On the other hand, the Warriors may have found a bright future star in rookie Brandin Podziemski.
To put Podziemski’s talent into perspective, Draymond Green recently heaped huge praise on the 19th overall pick of the 2023 NBA Draft via Warriors on NBCS on Twitter.
“Rookies don’t blow up plays. Rookies f**k up plays. He doesn’t,” Green said.

Adjusting to life as an NBA player is never an easy task for a rookie.
After all, most franchises expect their rookies to energize the team with a breath of fresh air.
While most may succumb to the pressure of handling this responsibility, Brandin Podziemski has proven otherwise.
The rookie is currently averaging 6.9 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game for the Warriors this season in 13 appearances.
On top of that, he is shooting 44.6% from the field and 41.9% from the three-point line.
Moreover, as Green mentioned in the above-attached tweet, Podziemski’s maturity makes him stand out among the rest of the rookies.
Despite just beginning his journey as an NBA player, Podziemski is already building a huge fanbase.
But it’s just a start to what could turn out to be a phenomenal career in the league.
Can Podziemski maintain this level of improvement throughout his rookie year? Only time will tell.
