The Golden State Warriors secured their first win of the season on Friday night, beating the Sacramento Kings 122-114.
Stephen Curry again led the team with 41 points, while Klay Thompson was substantial with 18, and Chris Paul chipped in 10 points and 12 assists.
Following the game, Paul had immense praise for other stars when talking to NBC Sports.
Paul called Jonathan Kuminga and Moses Moody “great guys” who always “put the work in.”
“Guys like that sometimes just need the confidence. They just need somebody to push them and believe in them and I think we do a great job of that,” Paul added.

Kuminga and Moody had a great Friday night.
Kuminga scored 12 points and 5 rebounds, while Moody put up 10 points and 3 steals.
This is exactly what fans of the Warriors wanted to see.
People believe that the Warriors’ chances lie not only in the hard work of Curry, Thompson, and Paul, but other players who are looking to prove themselves.
This is especially important against teams like the Kings, who are young and quick and sometimes able to outmove the aging roster.
If the Warriors want long-term success, the rest of the roster like Kuminga, Moody, and others will need to step up.
The Friday night win was valued for multiple reasons.
Of course, it’s always good to score a victory, but it was particularly important because they lost their opening night game against the Phoenix Suns.
This win over the Kings will give the stars a boost of confidence as they push further into the season.
Next up for the Warriors will be the Houston Rockets and the New Orleans Pelicans.
Following that, they will face off against the Kings again at home.
