Former Golden State Warriors general manager Bob Myers appeared on Thursday’s TNT coverage of the NBA In-Season Tournament and thought he’d be warmly welcomed as a guest.
And while Myers did have a lot of fun with the other co-hosts, he also had to suffer some gentle teasing from Charles Barkley.
According to a video shared by Oh no he didn’t on Twitter, Barkley called out to Myers and said, “I wanna give you credit for jumping off the Titanic before it sunk.”
Myers shot back by saying, “I have friends over there.”
“Yeah? You’re going to see them soon,” Barkley jokingly responded.

Myers was with the Warriors for many years, first starting with the team back in 2011 before exiting the franchise at the end of last season.
During his time there, he helped the team win four championships and was named NBA Executive of the Year two times.
Myers was a pivotal part of the organization and a huge reason why they found so much success.
As he said, he is indeed very close to many people who still work for the Warriors and is friends with all of the stars on the roster.
That means that Myers is definitely troubled by all of the struggles the Warriors are going through.
When Myers left the Warriors, he was replaced by Mike Dunleavy Jr., who clearly has his work cut out for him.
The Warriors are unhappy with their season so far and there are rumors they could try to make some roster changes in the months ahead.
So if Myers returns to TNT to cover the NBA playoffs in a few months, Barkley might be singing a very different tune.
