The Golden State Warriors were defeated by the reigning champion Denver Nuggets on Christmas Day and Stephen Curry wasn’t playing like his usual self.
He only scored 4 points in the first half of the game and would eventually post 18 points and 4 assists, shooting just 3-of-13 from the three-point line.
Some people called Curry out for his subpar performance and others noted that he has had fewer than 20 points in nine of his last ten Christmas Day games.
Speaking on Run It Back, Chandler Parsons said he doesn’t think playing on the holiday has anything to do with Curry’s weak game.
“When you play like Steph Curry, and you launch these shots…There’s going to be some nights where you just don’t make them,” Parsons said.

Throughout his career, Curry has indeed put up some wild, hard-to-believe shots, and a surprising number of them have found the basket.
This is just one of the reasons why he is such a unique player.
Of course, sometimes those shots don’t land and it can hurt the team, especially right now as the Warriors continue to struggle.
Instead of focusing on Curry’s game, Parsons said he is far more concerned about the rest of the team.
He targeted Draymond Green for his absences and also head coach Steve Kerr, who criticized the referees after Monday’s game.
All in all, Parsons said there is a lot more to be worried about with the Warriors right now.
In fact, many people say Curry is the only consistent part of the roster and has saved them multiple times.
Parsons believes that the Warriors didn’t have a great game on Monday but he doesn’t think it’s because of Curry.
