Draymond Green is known for his aggressive nature on the court, but at times, it can hurt the Golden State Warriors.
A perfect example of it was during the Warriors’ recent matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Following a heated scuffle between Klay Thompson and Jaden McDaniels, Draymond Green and Rudy Gobert stepped in for their respective sides.
Gobert initially tried to hold Thompson, but Green put the 31-year-old in a chokehold, ultimately leading to his ejection from the game.
While many have berated Green for trying to choke Gobert, NBA analyst Keyshawn Johnson took the Warriors veteran’s side via Undisputed on Twitter.
“I’m 100% with Draymond Green. Don’t put your hand on my teammate. It’s on Rudy Gobert,” Johnson said.

Johnson believes it was Gobert’s fault for escalating the fight as he tried to grab Klay Thompson from behind.
Keeping that in mind, Johnson believes Green was only protecting his teammate.
Upon a closer look at the heated altercation, many may agree with Keyshawn Johnson’s take on the incident.
However, even if Green was trying to protect his teammate, he could have simply tried to break up the fight between Thompson and Gobert instead of putting the Timberwolves veteran in a chokehold.
Green’s actions are under investigation right now, and he could serve a long suspension following the incident.
Considering the Warriors are currently 6-6 and on a four-game losing streak, the Dubs need to be at full strength to make a comeback.
While Green may not have a huge impact on the offensive end of the floor, he can still turn around the game with his defense.
