The Golden State Warriors will have no shortage of options before the upcoming NBA trade deadline.
They have so many problems that need to be fixed, which means they also have a slew of choices to make.
Which stars will they pursue to make their roster stronger?
Speaking on The Athletic NBA Show, insider Sam Vecenie threw out the idea of the Warriors signing Bruce Brown, currently of the Toronto Raptors.
“Warriors, maybe they could find a way to do something like that, where they attach Wiggins and an asset for Bruce Brown,” Vecenie said.
Ever since he was traded to the Toronto Raptors recently, several teams have focused on Brown.
For the season, Brown has averaged 12 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.9 assists.
After winning a championship with the Denver Nuggets last season, Brown made his way down to the Indiana Pacers.
The numbers prove that he did quite well for the Pacers but the team still decided to include him in the package that landed them Pascal Siakam.
He is currently playing for the Raptors but most people assume he will be traded again soon—but to which team?
As for Wiggins, most people also assume that he will be moving soon.
The former All-Star is putting up 11.9 points and 4.2 assists this season, a major drop-off from his output last season.
Wiggins is likely to be included in an upcoming trade and is probably spending his last days with Golden State.
He’s not the only Warriors player who might be sent to another team.
The biggest question is just how many changes the Warriors will make before the February 8 trade deadline.
They might not get Brown in place of Wiggins, but the Warriors are definitely going to do something soon.
