The Golden State Warriors were 5-1 at one point in the 2023-24 NBA season, thanks to the brilliance of Stephen Curry.
However, since then, the Dubs have seemingly lost their edge as they are currently the seventh seed in the Western Conference with a 6-5 record.
A key reason behind the Warriors’ struggles is the lack of solid performances from Andrew Wiggins.
According to NBA analyst Jim Petersen via 95.7 The Game on Twitter, head coach Steve Kerr is one person who can help Andrew Wiggins reach his old form again.
“Steve and his culture is going to help nurture him back to where he needs to be. To be that to be that catalyst and be a good player,” Petersen said.

Andrew Wiggins is averaging just 10.5 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.0 assists per game for the Warriors this season.
Moreover, he’s shooting an abysmal 41.2% from the field and 15.4% from the three-point line.
Last season, Wiggins added 17.1 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game on 47.3% shooting from the field.
In addition, he shot a career-high 39.6% from the three-point line.
Now, that’s a steep decline in the playing level of one of the most important players on the Warriors roster for the 2023-24 NBA season.
If the Dubs aim to get back on the top, they need that X-Factor from Andrew Wiggins, who has shown that he’s more than capable of playing at that level.
Speaking of the Warriors, they have lost four out of their five games in the regular season.
The Warriors flaunt an unwanted three-game losing streak right now.
With the Warriors scheduled to play against the Minnesota Timberwolves tonight without Stephen Curry on the team, things aren’t about to get any easier for the 2022 NBA champions.
Can the Warriors pull off a miracle and register a win? Only time will tell.
