The Golden State Warriors were enjoying a decent run in the regular season over the last few weeks.
In fact, the Dubs went on a short winning streak and are currently in one of the NBA Play-In Tournament spots.
Many believed that the Dubs weren’t outmatched during their recent game against the Denver Nuggets.
Although the Nuggets have a much better record than the Warriors this season, many believed the latter could have defeated the former.
Unfortunately, behind a fourth-quarter collapse, the Nuggets ended up registering a 119-103 win over the Warriors.
Following the heartbreaking loss, Mark Willard made a strong statement on Warriors via 95.7 The Game on Twitter.
“At no point do I watch the Warriors play the Nuggets and feel like the Warriors are overwhelmed, or don’t belong on the floor with them,” Willard said.
"Last night did not break my stride. Not one bit…At no point do I watch the Warriors play the Nuggets and feel like the Warriors are overwhelmed, or don't belong on the floor with them."

Prior to losing against the Nuggets, the Dubs were on a three-game winning streak including an impressive win over the Los Angeles Lakers.
While many believe losing against the Nuggets could somewhat ruin the Dubs’ consistency, Willard denied that notion.
He believes the Warriors matched their opponents’ prowess throughout the game.
To be honest, the game was evenly matched until the final quarter of the game, where the Nuggets outscored the Warriors 28-16, thanks to a poor shooting performance from the Dubs.
Moreover, Stephen Curry had an off-shooting night where he finished the game with just 6-19 from the floor.
Although the two-time NBA MVP reached 20 points, it was an otherwise forgettable night for him.
The Warriors will now gear up to face the New York Knicks this Thursday night, where they will aim to get back on track.
They are currently the 10th seed in the Western Conference with a 29-27 record.
